Quality Standards

In order to ensure the high quality of BRITA's products, filter cartridges, raw materials and finished products are permanently being checked and tested for established quality requirements in BRITA's factory. In addition products are constantly tested by independent institutes and scientists.

The TÜV SÜD Holding AG regularly inspects the original BRITA filter cartridge as well as the whole water filter system and certifies perfect food quality.

All over the world BRITA is regularly monitored by renowned laboratories and institutions.

BRITA consults universities in questions of security of its products.

The TÜV SÜD Institute is our partner for food grade quality testing and certification. What does the TUV SUD do? Read, what makes this institute a valuable partner for BRITA:
  • It is the most renowned, independent testing institute in Germany and has gained a high reputation internationally. With more than 9,000 employees, TÜV SÜD is one of the largest testing institutes in Germany.
  • The TÜV SÜD stands for high quality standards and independent testing. The experience and logistic facilities it owns, will guarantee a professional testing and certifying procedure.
  • International Activities: The TÜV SÜD did certify 140,000 products worldwide thereof 70% outside Germany. The TÜV SÜD collaborates with 22,000 companies thereof 70% are non German companies.
